Valtrex is used for the treatment of
genital herpes. Although, Valtrex is
not a permanent cure, it helps heal sores faster and
relieves pain and discomfort. Clinically proven to prevent
future herpes outbreaks, Valtrex is
a once-a-day prescription. In various trial studies,
Valtrex impeded outbreaks for up to a year.
It works by disrupting the reproduction process of the
virus. Moreover, Valtrex prevents the
virus spreading to other cells in the body. The prevalently
reported adverse effects that may occur with Valtrex
are headache, nausea and abdominal pain. Valtrex
should only be used by adults with normal immune systems.
Prior to using Valtrex, consult a physician.
Valtrex may not be prescribed for patients
with immune deficiencies, HIV disease, bone marrow or
kidney transplant, make sure your doctor knows this
to avoid a potentially serious complication.
